Existing technical books are too lengthy and dull to be suitable as references for beginning and intermediate Excel users. The author cuts through the clutter and provides precise, useful information users want and need. This Microsoft Excel book will take you to the next level and you to be quicker and more comfortable with Excel. When you reach that next level, you will also feel better about yourself! This book is designed to increase your productivity and self-esteem.

Customer Rating: Summary: Excel Magic: Tims and Time Savers Comment: No data disk was provided with the file.
The book is not well written; it is almost as if a collection of ideas from pc magazines were thrown into a hat and pulled out. The techniques are presented without explanation of where or when they might be useful and without practical examples.
Mr. Sweet is an instructor, according to the book and it seems to be written to deliver to a class rather that to a reader. In class he may add the missing ingredients??
As I read the book I got the feeling he was writing based on material someone else had given him and he was trying to put it into an acceptable format.
What was puzzling also was that there were some very unusual tips and at the same time there were some tips that no Excel user would consider a tip and infact at least one tip that was just plan incorrect. It just didn't seem like the author was really the author. Very strange feeling.
Customer Rating: Summary: Invaluable Resource Comment: Mr. Sweet made learning Excel a snap. Excel Magic provides both a great foundation, but also includes several tips and tricks not found in any other book I have read. I strongly reccomend this book.
Customer Rating: Summary: Practical and Applicable! Comment: I have used this book as a classroom, instructor-led guide for corporate clients. The content of this book makes it the most sought-after course that we offer. I'm looking forward to more application short-cut titles from Mr. Sweet!
